You can't beat the sound of a banjo for getaway music in films. One of the most fun and enjoyable instruments you can play and you really do stick out in an ensemble. In lessons, you will learn rolls, chords, picking techniques, bluesgrass style and as a must.... the dueling banjos piece against your teacher on the guitar! Ukuleles have become increasingly popular since the swap from recorders in schools. We do heavily focus on the uke style of George Formby here at OutJazz'D. We already have a few young students performing and singing 'When I'm Cleaning Windows' in and outside of lessons.
